Selecting construction and installation dimensions
This row of 16325 has a fixed backset of 35 mm. Check the distance from the door-edge faceplate reference to the cylinder centre axis; overall case depth cannot substitute for it. This is an electric configuration; the catalogue gives supply 12 V AC and current 3.1 A; the adjustment range of the latch and auxiliary plunger is 10.5–16.5 mm.
Electrical specifications of electric versions are only for identification and checking matching components; this page does not provide wiring or control-system installation instructions. Additional locking points use M8 threaded bushings; both accessory interfaces and installation positions must match.
The handle-to-cylinder centre distance is 85 mm; this and the 35 mm backset are installation dimensions in different directions. Check cylinder length and trim on both sides separately for the actual door.
Limitations
- The backset diagram only explains the measurement reference from the faceplate to the cylinder axis; it is not an outline, drilling or installation drawing.
- Check cylinders, extension rods, strikes and other accessories against the specific model; accessories listed in the catalogue as available on request are not standard equipment.
- Series certification or suitability does not establish that any complete door currently meets the corresponding grade.
