Selecting construction and installation dimensions
This row of 46870 has a fixed backset of 25 mm. Check the distance from the door-edge faceplate reference to the cylinder centre axis; overall case depth cannot substitute for it. Locking is provided by the upper and lower locking points, with threaded bushings; First check the upper and lower extension rods and floor-strike position.
The installation construction of Grille door must match Upper and lower locking points. Additional locking points use threaded bushings; both accessory interfaces and installation positions must match.
Check locking-point positions, door-edge strikes and internal installation space together; equal backsets alone do not establish interchangeability. Check cylinder length and trim on both sides separately for the actual door.
