Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey is a smart deadbolt installed above the door handle or knob, supporting PIN, Bluetooth and a backup mechanical key. Its 17 mm exterior panel helps assess clearance to a screen door or secondary door.

Installation and compatibility checks

Official compatibility covers 35–60 mm wooden swing doors and 60/70 mm backsets. After confirming more than 110 mm door edge clearance, also check existing holes, bolt position and the frame's receiving pocket.

Selection comparison

It performs deadbolt locking only, so the original handle remains necessary. Unlike the add-on Retrofit Lock, this model replaces the exterior panel and bolt assembly, giving it a different retrofit scope.

Limitations

• Select only within the manufacturer's wooden-door compatibility range; sheltered installation is recommended. PIN logs and battery level must synchronise within Bluetooth range and should not be assumed to update online in real time.
