Keypad EK1 is a standalone Bluetooth PIN keypad for compatible smart locks, powered by 2 AA batteries. It can add PIN access to devices such as Retrofit Lock that have no external numeric input surface.

Installation and compatibility checks

Check that the lock model is on the compatibility list, then choose a location with convenient visitor access and stable Bluetooth connectivity. The 35 × 100 × 38 mm body needs reliable mounting; the keypad is not a controller that independently drives an electric lock.

Selection comparison

Compared with Key Fob's single-button operation, EK1 is better suited to issuing visitor PINs. Its role differs from Bridge: the keypad provides local input, while the gateway provides network connectivity.

Limitations

• The manufacturer recommends sheltered installation. Check support by lock model; a shared brand does not establish compatibility.
