Functions and applications
Lever Mortise ML5 supports PIN, Bluetooth, RFID and mechanical keys. It covers 35–60 mm door thickness and has RFID capacity 50, allowing comparison with Mortise 2 by door thickness and credential scale.
Installation and compatibility checks
The manufacturer specifies wooden swing doors with more than 190 mm clearance from door edge to lever edge. Although a 35 mm door is within the thickness range, confirm mortise depth and remaining door material; thickness alone is insufficient for installation planning.
Selection comparison
Compared with the 40–70 mm range of Mortise 2, ML5 supports thinner doors but has a lower maximum. Shared spaces needing more than 50 RFID credentials should establish management requirements first.
Limitations
- Only specified RFID cards or tags are compatible. The website states availability in selected countries and recommends sheltered installation.
