Functions and applications

Mortise 2 combines a lever and mortise lock, supporting PIN, Bluetooth, RFID tags and mechanical keys. It is intended for wooden swing doors and complete retrofits replacing both handle and lock body.

Installation and compatibility checks

Door thickness must be 40–70 mm, with more than 190 mm from door edge to lever edge when the lever is fitted. Compare the existing mortise, body fixing holes and strike position individually against the installation template.

Selection comparison

Mortise 2+ adds fingerprint access; this model's four access methods exclude fingerprints. If fingerprint access is unnecessary, focus on existing RFID habits and handle operating clearance.

Limitations

• Keep maintenance access to the 8 AA batteries clear. The manufacturer recommends sheltered installation; battery life of up to 18 months varies with usage conditions.
