Functions and applications

Mortise 2+ adds fingerprint access to a lever mortise construction. The manufacturer lists capacity for 100 fingerprints and 100 RFID credentials. PIN, Bluetooth and mechanical keys remain available for households with mixed access preferences.

Installation and compatibility checks

As with Mortise 2, first confirm a 40–70 mm wooden door and more than 190 mm lever-side clearance. The exterior assembly measures 84 × 354 × 68 mm; measure its ability to cover old holes separately.

Selection comparison

The difference from Push-Pull Mortise extends beyond appearance: this model uses a traditional lever, while the other uses push/pull operation. Trying the opening action preferred by household members is more useful than simply comparing the number of unlocking methods.

Limitations

• Use only on the manufacturer's specified wooden swing doors. Fingerprint and RFID capacities do not imply simultaneous management of an identical number of all access permissions.
