The outside key operates the deadbolt and latch, while the outside handle operates only the latch. The inside escape device can operate both bolts.

Function letters describe the relationship between inside and outside operation. When replacing, check whether the outside has a fixed knob, controlled handle or directly operating handle, and match the spindle construction.

Check compatibility between the lock case, operating device, strike plate and door handing. Catalogue options are not treated as accessories included with this order code.
