Backset and faceplate compatibility
Faceplate dimensions are 200×16×3 mm and backset E is 15 mm. E is the horizontal distance from the faceplate reference to the cylinder operating axis and cannot be replaced by door thickness; faceplate width and thickness must also match the door-edge mortice.
Operating construction and selection
The retracted deadbolt still projects 3 mm beyond the faceplate; a separate independent latch is operated by an 8 mm handle spindle; It cannot directly replace a flush-deadbolt version based on that version's door-gap requirements.
This model uses an oval-cylinder interface; a Euro-profile cylinder cannot replace it merely because the length matches. When installing the open lock case, prevent frame-machining debris from entering the mechanism.
Limitations
- The diagram on this page explains only backset, not mounting hole positions; check the manufacturer's drawings for complete keep and connector dimensions.
- Product dimensions and construction do not establish a security grade for the complete door or certification for a particular application.
