Short end of a single cylinder

The catalogue single-cylinder drawing shows a key entry on one side only and a fixed 10 mm segment D on the other. Mark the short end and key side clearly on site photographs. Matching overall external length does not allow direct replacement with a double cylinder.

R700 coding and mechanical construction

This R700 page describes up to 14 coding pins and a reversible key. Reversible refers only to insertion direction; it does not replace verification of key coding and the authorisation system.

This page also explicitly specifies stainless-steel driver pins, a 30° DIN cam and anti-drill devices at both ends of the cylinder housing and rotor (manufacturer's description). Check the key system, cam and mechanical interface separately when selecting replacements.
