Its locking positions are arranged through lateral strikes and upper and lower rods; the 5 lateral bolts of 18 mm diameter operate through 4 throws of 10 mm each. Cylinder length describes the through-door configuration and cannot replace lock-body backset; Handing must also match door opening and strike positions. The 21 mm connection travel of the upper and lower rods differs from lateral-bolt travel; do not confuse these dimensions when replacing rods.
