990108 uses a winged angled mounting section to suit a fixing arrangement different from the standard U-shaped keep. The 100 mm mounting-flange height and 18 mm rod diameter determine fixing clearance and the rod-end interface respectively; matching rod diameter alone does not make this a direct replacement for 990103.
