Applications and series scope
In the GF3000 surface-mounted series, SM is for outswing doors and the TJ top-jamb configuration is for inswing doors. Both specify 3000 lb holding force; check mounting orientation and fixing construction separately.
Using specifications for selection
Determine inswing or outswing first, then select SM or TJ mounting. Equal holding force does not make these interchangeable with concealed GF3000 models.
