Applications and series scope
L series mechanical mortise locks list passage, entrance and storeroom lever functions. The stainless steel latchbolt has a 3/4-inch throw and an anti-friction tongue; some functions also include a deadbolt.
Using specifications for selection
Equal case dimensions do not establish identical door operation. Distinguish latch-and-lever functions from deadbolt-only functions, then check the strike shape.
Sources and image notes
A series may include different functions, trim and cylinder options. When comparing products, first establish the required door operation, then check whether the specific accessories are included in the ordering configuration.
Follow the official document links for model lists, installation requirements and drawings. Electrified locks also require checks against the power supply, controller and local system requirements.
Limitations
- Summarised from the official series detail page. Not every combination in the door thickness, function or option is treated as a standard configuration.
- The image shows a representative configuration from the official series page. Colour, lever and cylinder form are as pictured in the original image.
- Check current model availability, certification scope and project installation requirements separately.
