Fixed versus operating handles
HOPPE describes a fixed dummy as a stationary pull used to pull the door. An operating handle works with the lock mechanism. They may look similar but have different functions.

Checks when purchasing a set
Whether one or both sides require a fixed handle depends on the actual door construction. Record single- or double-sided supply, mounting holes, fixing method and interference with the existing leaf. A front photograph does not establish that all accessories are included.
Describing double-door requirements
Mark the leaf normally opened first and the other leaf in a photograph, then identify each leaf's handles and locking devices. This explains which leaf needs which function more clearly than requesting a left/right handle set.
